are the window to the soul.
But have I captured in my gaze
that which makes you whole?
Don't you ever fear your shroud has fallen?
Aren't you too too entitled to play this part?
Or has the mask you wear given you a reason
to believe your deception is now an art?
What is that there, gleaming in your eyes?
You say it's all that you hold dear.
But I can see what you have hidden there,
a concealment of my darkest fear.
You think I have a broken soul,
that you will laugh as my will shatters.
"No one cares about the girl",
Getting yours is all that matters.
You think this fairytale charade
will bleach out all your lies.
"My dear, I'd never deceive you!
The truth is here, in my eyes".
You tricked me with your angelic guise
and I see your heart is naught but greed.
"You know I do what's best for you..."
And the punishment shall fit the deed.
You are not fooling me any longer
I will not stay fearfully bound.
I won't allow you to control me.
Because I'm going to take you down.
I loved your ruse at selfless ideals,
your heroism was even idolized.
But your such a fake and I know it now.
And I really do hate your eyes.

. You are so right. There are those who can amazingly lie straightfaced and looking you right in the eyes, sometimes even with a tear to top it off
Actions always end up giving them away at some point though. Good for your for figuring it out and standing your ground. Unfortunately for a con, they generally mistake niceness for weakness, which just is not the case.
