I Will Color The World

Missing image

I will release the rummage,

and let it down;

 if-and-when it
returns, thorough decisions will impact
me and others fruitfully.

Lips will not be tainted by
untruth or scarcity of hope

and corners, will un-slope
while happiness finds

suit upon my face

and eyes  seek
deeper truth;

the tongue to truly
taste the layers beneath
the carnage,

and waste not
its intent to
superficiality-

I will savor life's
flavors and
color the world
with stealth,

humanity.

    Hopefully your will is fulfilled. Your words erase all doubt of the superficial! They purge the heart and encourage faith. This is a stellar poem of brevity with astute language. I feel the passion of these words. I wish you the best in the contest.

    I will allow the pain and anguish to free themselves from my existence..
    If it returns, my life and loved ones may be changed forever...
    Lies and lack of hope will not spoil my spirit and will...
    Happiness will embrace me and I will see myself in a different light...
    I will discover the remedy for sorrow and defeat it with self love...
    I will inhale compassion and breathe it upon all others...
    This is my prayer...
