Feeling Through the Glass

the blinds remain shut
and yet
i see a faint shadow
of the crow
chirping
outside my window
the sunlight
missing my face
lacking its embrace
the trees
say goodbye to the leaves
observe people
stepping briefly
shallow breathing
loud silence sinking
feeling your feelings

Author notes

i rarely rhyme but this is how it happened to turn out

    GREAT!!!

I like this poem. It is short but yet it still has an essence about it. This goes to show that poems can still have substance and not be so drawn out. I think that this might have turned out better than you expected!!!!
