Early Morning Rhyme

I no longer feel my pen pulling me to paper,
or my fingers to the keys.
Maybe it because, that no matter what I write,
you will never be appeased.
I loved you and you left me,
such a typical story,
however this one's ending
is just a little more gory.
I hate myself and I hate you,
for all the pain you put me through.
I never wanted to die like this,
but sweetheart there was poison on that last kiss.
It seeped in and tricked the brain
thatd you still be around
when new years came.
Lo and behold, I prove too much to handle,
apparently, im just some scandal
some heart stealing theif
who causes men grief.
But darling you were different,
I actually cared,
and look where it got me:
six feet under and scared.

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!
