As the poisonous words escaped rapidly from your mouth.
You're leaving.
And I stand there with not even a word
Staring down at the green carpet.
I want to ask so much,
but I don't know how to say it.
my mouth can't form a single word
as I search for my emotions
looking to find anger.
sadness isn't in sight
No emotions are left.
Emptiness crawls up and under my skin as he gathers his things.
