I've seen you cry so many tears
so many words so little ways
all you need is an I love you
all you need is someone to hug
you need that affection
something I can't give
i'll be there I can promise
tell you it'll be fine, but
"I love you" I can not
that affection will not be yours
my hugs are not ment for you
my love will never be yours
I am sorry to say
you are the forbiden fruit ready to fall
I may not catch you
I am not for you nor will I ever
I am your safety net and you are mine
we can never be more, sadly
let us not risk what we have going
let us stay forbidden if you really love me.
