Hawai'ian Time

Sun still rises in the sky,
and morning birds sing, still.
Ocean tides, ebb and flow,
always have...and forever, will.

Matters not what numbers say,
nature controls all time,
but you can pretend to extend
your day...
if only in your mind!

Author notes

We don't change our clocks here either!

When told the reason for daylight
savings time the Old Indian said,
“Only the Government would
believe that you could cut a
foot off the top of a blanket,
sew it to the bottom, and have
a longer blanket”
