I know I have sinned Lord and must atone,
for all the bad things I have done in the past.
For all the chances You gave me that I've blown,
yet I have one boon to ask, and after that it will be my last.
Cure my lover of her sickness, so her growing daughters she can witness.
Author notes
I love you Tory
What if:
*You are face-to-face with God, and
*You are given the chance to tell Him everything you want to tell him, but
*You have to tell all of that only in five lines.

Well Earned Win
I really enjoyed reading this poem
It really is touching
Thank you for sharing -
Such a heart-rendering plea, Scott. And the God says 'Amen'.
Good luck.

I got thrown with "Cure my baby of her sickness" cause my mind went to an actual child, a baby especially with the picture though you cleared it up with the rest of the sentence

A very heartfelt write
Just by reading the lines I can feel quite intensely that you really have poured your heart and soul into this piece. This is such a beautiful entry. This should do well in my contest. Thanks for entering and good luck. XD
