High School.
Hell incarnate.
Full of deception, greed, lust and lies.
Breaking barriers meant to stay erect.
Destroying dams, flooding our brains with tears of innocence lost.
Another day goes by, another glance at death.
How does one survive that which is unconquerable?
We don't.
That which we were all through elementary school and middle school...
Lost.
We get a new boo, or win a new car
We get new friends or destroy old ones.
We lose ourselves in our hate, our angst.
Our jealousy.
We never make it out of there the same as always.
We are a new demon to torment the world with our twisted thoughts and cares.
We are now: adults.
What did you think
