A typewriter lost in the abyss of typing,
The noise carrying through this darkness.
Echoes of the past reflected onto a sheet of paper,
Become a tale of a tragic mess.
The very soul of the piece was one of magic,
But shall never be heard over the human cries.
Shrieks of people who care not what the message is,
And fails to look under its disguise.
Unspoken words typed up onto a wooden parcel,
Remaining only a memory in the writer's head.
It's lyrics shall never be remembered,
For its words shall never be read.

It is sad how sometimes our words get lost trying to find their way. To have something to say, and then scribe it… and it never reaches the one intended for is sad. Very nicely scribed poet. I wish you well in the contest.
Much Love & Respect ♥
