Swollen leaves sink below the branches.
Death and decay is the new decor.
Autumn drains misery from fingertips as eagles soar.
Seeping through the crack in the roads.
Drunken fools stupor to day's decline.
Lined with crystalized jewels of dew and blush.
Silence hush the cries of wolves;
dripping pipes begin to freeze.
Lifting spirits of tattered souls.
One shattered mind;
heartless and black,
faces the world with sense.
