Sunrise, Sunset

Serenity flows like

 swirling water in

pools of self doubt.

Hope cascades in

 rivers of disbelief.

 

Love illuminates in the

midst of empty promises

and broken homes.

 

Peace gushes as

waves of turbulence

disrupt the purity of 

contentment in one's life

as the storms of man’s 

existence passes by.

 

The ending holds promises

one never expected.

 

Sunrise, sunset

stars shine

in the crisp winter sky.

 

Night is peaceful

just like the dawn

of a brand new day.
