Have I ever been fat you want to know
Well I was a regular butterball
Or so in my opinion I was
And I wasn't very tall
I stood less than five feet two
And my frame was very small
So yes I carried extra pounds
Which I didn't mind at all
Well the summer that I graduated
I finally got a shape
All my clothes seemed to big
And down to my ankles they draped
Most of the people I knew
Thought I had lost a lot of weight
But I said no I just shaped up
I started getting asked for dates
But when I got pregnant with my son
Oh boy did I pile on the pounds
My family Doctor had a fit
He grumbled and made other sounds
He was right, my labor was hard
After many hours I gave birth
To a little tiny baby boy
Who brought about very much mirth
Well I am old now and still fat
But I recently lost twenty three pounds
Don't ask me how I did it
I'm just happy and I'm making lots of sounds
