Come to terms

Why can't people
come to terms
try to understand
life is really all that shallow

Seems like years
since I've last breathed
the air of Mount Sinai

Seems like a lifetime
since I've last heard of peace
mankind has lost its fear of tomorrow

Seems like a millenium
since I've ridden into town
facing backwards on an ass

It's time for restitution
look no need to fear
retribution wholy holy.

    Life isn't shallow... it's the people that become shallow through greed, war and hate... selfishness is what ruins this beautiful world!!

    Great write here, I can feel a beat to this in my mind xx DD

    peace and war are the morter that makes ull the combustiong in this world today.. peace,, i wonder if it will ever be.. for the meaness in mankind steals the worlds peace.. hugs hun always so well done Angel♥

      Thank you so much for your wonderful comment and read, yes I tend to try and think a little but then again I am a humble person you know.

      I have been leaning towards writing poems that play out like lyrics lately.

      I will return the favor soon enough.
