Looking deep into others eyes, so much heartache and despair
Reading inbetween the lines, the vibrations hidden there
But if we ignore it at our own peril
It will burn us up and leave us sterile
When the words are hidden in silence
Hidden so deep among the silence
Hearts still beat and burn, and still we never learn
When words are hidden deep in the silence
The more we talk the less we have to say
With meaningless words that just get in the way
When the words are hidden in silence
Spoken and shouted with such malevolence
We should take note at our own peril
Lessons to be learned can often be lost in the silence
Because hearts still beat loudly drowning out the noise
When the words are hidden in silence...

Reading between the lines is a talent unto itself, my Friend. There is often more being said than what is implied - or inferred - by the words that are on the page. Good luck in the contest, Sweetie.

Touched
It's deep. I love thte thought put into it but why so suddenly gruesome ( this might be over exadurating)? I get where it is going but it seems to inflict on the beauty of it. -

It's deep. I love the thought put into it, why so suddenly gruesome though? I get were it is going but it almost seems to ruin the beauty of it. Overal though I love the thought and where it leads to. I love it.
