Though your shoulders are thin, and quiver with each breath
that you take in, though you've lost too much weight to be
healthy. Though you've cancer inside, that you try to hide,
as I look at you... I know you're still wealthy.
You've got love to give, you enjoy the life that you live, and
you never let go of that hope. You're so inspiring to me,
amazingly beautiful to see, and, you unwittingly taught me
how to cope.
It's your spirit of light, that won't give up the fight, which is
making me believe in you. Though they say your chances are
small, you still smile through it all - and I just think...
maybe miracles really *do* come true.

My sister has been suffering with lung cancer since July 2009. She was 29 when she was diagnosed, NOT a smoker, never worked with chemicals etc.
Since then, she's pretty much all I write about; she's amazingly inspiring for she grins, and bears it - the chemo that didn't work, the new treatment that we don't know will work. She also has secondary cancer in her bones, and clots all over her body which make it hard to walk / move and yet ... I don't know where she gets her good temperment from but she's truly an inspiration to me.

Amazing write and so true to its name. As Beautiful and Broken said, she must be one strong woman. To be able to smile through it all, the pain the fear. I am inspired by your write and your sister. Excellent write, your sister is wealthy with the love she gets from her family as well.
