Oh this is just beautiful, just beautiful. I loved everything about it. Memories of the heart is the perfect title and I was so touched and moved by the love that you expressed here in your poem. Yes there are those very special people that hold a very special piece of our hearts. I'm glad you got a trophy think it should have been gold though...LOL....

Memory Lane is a great place to go wandering down and the older we get the longer the lane
I have hundreds of photographs going back to my childhood and often think I should throw them all away .. but . not today..
Right now we share those memories I do not want to think of a time when we won't.
