Daddy

A little girl cries out in the middle of the night.
In runs her daddy to check under the bed. No monsters tonight.
A little wrestler runs out of the practice room in tears.
Out runs her hero after her to comfort her fears.
A teenager locks herself in her room. Her boyfriend broke up with her, tears start to flow.
Knock, knock, knock on her door, its her first love hes there to listen, thats what she needs, he knows.
A graduate stands there in her cap and gown. Tears stream down his face.
Her rock walks up to her, he lifts her up and twirls her around with so much grace.
A college student in her dorm room stares at a picture of home. A tear forms in her eye.
She gets a text from her best friend it says, "You will do great just believe in yourself half as much as i do and you will do great. I love you. Goodnight."

Daddy you are my hero that I look up to, the man I first fell in love with, my rock that keeps me strong, and my best friend forever. I LOVE YOU!
