Die Kerzen leuchten,
eine Hexe gackert,
die Werewölfe heulen in der Wind.
Die Vampire schrillen,
eine schwarze Katze jault
und die Kinder schreien
"Streich oder Süßkeit!"
Der Vollmond wartet,
die Spinnen kriechen,
der Spuk bedeckt in der Wind.
Der Dämon wartet schreien,
ein Monstrum springt
in dieser Nacht von Halloween.
The candles glow,
a witch cackles,
werewolves howl in the wind.
The vampires screech,
a black cat yowls,
and the children yell
"Trick or treat!"
The full moon waits,
the spiders creep,
the phantom hides in the wind.
The demon waits to scream,
a monster leaps
on this night of Halloween.

Wrote this for my German class. I know it's a bit late for Halloween themed things but whatever. I like the German translation way better. (Sorry if anything is off, I'm still learning!)
