Heavenly Reminders

Missing image
Since  I  was  a child
the  seasons  brings  such  life,
Of  a world  dressed  in  such  colors
brought  forth  for  all  our  eyes.

My  first  season  was  spring
filled  with  heavens  scents  and  beauty  abound,
Of  all colors of  green  and  reds  picks and  blues
and  a ribbon  of  larkspurs  all around.

Hummingbirds chirp their  greetings  each  day,
butterflies  are  flower  petals  alive in  their  display.
Song birds  filled  the  air,
and  new  born  birds  and  baby  rabbits  for  all to  share.

Then  came  summer  heat  waves  made  visions  unreal,
storm  clouds  and  how  from  the  sky  rain  so  spilled.
Then  sun rays  break  through  the  clouds  like the  very  fingers  of  God  himself,
to  tend  his  garden  and  give  us  all  new  wealth.

Then  fall  dressed  this  earth
with  tones  of  orange  yellows  and  browns,
Bringing  us  such  enjoyment  of  the  days  so  passed  now.
Squirels  and  birds  save  up for  the  days  to  come ,
its  such  a blessing in a world  never  in  a rush like some.

As  the air  becomes  crisp  and  laced  with  glitter about,
how the  early morning  fog  lets  heavenly  angels  dance  around.
We  smell  the pine  trees  as  the  cold  air wafes  our  way,
and  it  brings such  beauty  of snow  for  a brand  new  day.

Spring  summer  fall  and  winter like  pages from  the  bible  indeed,
A  world  of  nature  free  for  all  to  see.
Blessed  with  renewal each  year  more precious  than  before,
as  we  journey  right  here  on  earth as  the  seasons  drift  through  heavens  door.

Who are the ones who embrace the seasons to their fullest .Have you stepped outside and breathed in the flovors of the world .Saw the visions so sent your way and tell me did it embrace you with such love each day .
Time for life has seasons as well from birth to adolecents and middle age and elderly has colors for even ourselves .
When young we have the rosey cheeks as an asolecent we change our colors for our own special needs .In adulthood we begin to turn gey and our skin begins to fade .Then as an elderly person we embrace every day with a new love of the seasons in every way .

The poet celebrates the seasons in this poem, but also the life of spirit, soul and body which allows us to appreciate their presence and their passing and to anticipate their rejuvenation in the fullness of time. Sensation walks hand in hand with intellect and faith among the natural beauty and grace of creation's cycle.

I really love this. I really love how you gave credit to God and how wise and mighty he is for creating the seasons.
