I reached under the table
to get the baby's favorite toy,
I then rose up with a bump
and startled the little boy.
That was not the first time
that I suddenly bumped my head,
I do it all the time these days
and now brain cells are dead.
I bumped my head on bricks
and it wasn't long ago,
my noggin hurts so bad
that I really do not know.
Down to my last brain cell
and drool drips off my lips,
I am getting dumber now
and I've been on mental trips.
I just took that final bump
and I can't think what to say,
can you help me to the door
as my smarts have gone away.
