They say look mom no hands!
As you shutter you remember how it felt
to have no fear , how you tried it all.
Even as you fell you learned.
So you sit back down and say WOW!
Sweetie that's great!
But as you are a mom first you add be careful!

I wrote this as my son Kyle was in a tree telling me look mom no hands and started to yell to get down and remembered my days in tree's as a kid. So let them live and learn as we had the chance to.

Aint it the truth. I watch our Grandson going through the things like a daredevil. The whole time knowing he going to fall. You can only warn so much and if it isn't going to kill or badly hurt themselves you have to let them learn as you did. This adds validity to your next warning. Some lessons are hard to learn and have to be learned through experience. We need to be there to catch them, sooth them and love them. Thank you for your fine write. Thank you for sharing.
