That's how I'd define my soul.
We all have secrets we hide
Making us a Doctor Jekyll
and
Notorious Mr. Hyde.
I like the Dr Jekyll side better
He is loving and kind and thoughtful
but
His other side is hateful... like Dr Hyde's
When things don't go his way.
If only...
If only...
These two short words can destroy anyone
for
Many of us live in our past
Never being free of the chains that bind us .
We live two separate lives
and
Many of us will take our secrets to the grave
Always hoping they will go away
But they haunt us forever
Giving us a choice to make.
So why suffer behind your masks?
When all we have to do is
Forgive and Forget.
Two morepowerful words
but
They make or break the lives we lead.
