Each year our love fades
with each Lie you have gave.
yearning for brighter days

Those day's are wasted never to get back

I certianly can feel the sadness in this piece. Sometimes the efforts we make seeme to fall short....mainly because those efforts are not accepted by the one we love. I appreciate this write and understand it deeply.

Your poem sayes it all. With nothing coming your way but lies maybe it is time to say "Good Bye" or give it one last allout effort to try to renew. Then you could truely say you gave it your all, "I could be wrong, but I don't think so" ( a Monkism). Thank you for sharing.

I can relate to this. I broke up with my ex boyfriend and now I feel empowered and I feel free. I love how you've titled the poem. It was very encouraging to see you move on.

I really liked this alot. I can relate to it, and I think that's part of the reason I like it so much. It was short, but it got your emotions across perfectly, and that's really what made the poem so great. Nice write!
