Here I

I stand alone even when
darkness of afflictive
is my floor, even when
the crooked succinct calls,
tries to befriend, to woo;
even when the angel falls
beside me in quest for truth-
I'm with spine not rose, for
rose tries to steal my soul
while pine pains to return.
The shine of angled appears
first but darkness behind
explored last;
noticed last the true light
behind angel befallen.
Here I stand alone even
when you- the wrong, the easy,
the illusion, the success
of matter-
attempt allure
