My hidden fears are kept inside
Yet they surface through the tears I cried.
Hiding my apprehensions isn't good.
I guess I'd change my outlook if I could!
Don't be afraid to be myself!
Don't put my heart upon a shelf
Even though the truth may cause me pain.
Now's the time to try and try again!
Fearing that I'll try and fail
Evokes a cowardice to no avail
And I'll never find the courage for today.
Reach out! Take a chance! Maybe, my life will be enhanced!
Stopping before I 'Start' isn't the way!
