Soft blue eyes stare out the glass,
While she just sits in class,
Her mind starts to race,
As it takes her to a special place.
No doubt that he's on her mind,
Their two hearts together bind,
Until the Earth has paid its due,
Love forever simply oh so true.
All of their time spent away,
Missing the other more each day,
Patiently waiting for the weekend,
Just so they can be together again.
The school hours pass by so slowly,
Making those eight hours lonely,
Needing to get home to hear his voice,
Her mind and heart don't give her a choice.
The love they share will last,
It won't fade into the past,
Engagement was chosen as a chance,
This simply isn't just a high school romance.
