holocaust

You took them away
And made them pay
Stripped them bare
You had no care
From pillar to post
You left no ghost
Trampled in dirt
You caused them hurt
Degraded and shocked
You called and mocked
A river runs red
Put innocence to bed
Auschwitz to belsen
You longed for creation
Six million cries
All closed their eyes

Wow Bertie! This one stopped me for a bit this morning, I read it a couple times and each felt a chill in my bones.

    Stark, stripped, yet visual.

Much blood taints the hands of the killer. Let us always consider the consequences of destruction.
