Death approaching on a Tree

Wailing roots
and paining shoots
risk the stem
that sways
for a collapse
leaves shed tears
turn yellow on flying years
flowers droop
as if they were icecream cups
fully empty and scooped
fruits are emaciated and stunted
like they were forced to grow
almost ready to fall
after a small bloom and bow
the shade slants more than expands
tired traveller feels the pain chemicals
wafting and mixing in vegetation clime
as he sets foot on the underneath wet slime
now he rests, collects and stands
what a tree this is !
and tomorrow will it be!
he mulls and thinks.

Ever youthful and fertile mother earth wails and chaffes as her another son is going to die and be with her as dust again!

Author notes

and tomorrow will it be!
he mulls and thinks.

you have some great words written down.
my suggestion is coma's and periods :]
i feel that with coma's its makes the way it rolls of the tongue to be easier and with more expression then without.

    but that is just me

Wow... so much darker and depressing than I even expected - but very well written. Love the imagery and metaphors. Truly beautiful writing here.

I compare this to the death of a human: Wailing roots, paining shoots.
Ready to fall. Nicely written. Mulling over your words.....
