Mornings lately have become so hard
The weather is dark and cold
I know I am far from it
But man, today I feel so old
I leave the house
Every morning at eight
Walking to bus stop
In the harsh cold wind I stand and wait
With every heavy step I take
As the leaves crunch under my feet
I long to be somewhere else
Somewhere warm and filled with heat
Winter is coming
I want to stay in and hide
If only I was a bear
I would be warm and comfy hibernating inside

The title caught my eye this morning and as I read the verses it reminded me of how fortunate I am to be gainfully employed...lol. Even though the daily grind is unBearable at times the alternative is much worse. Good luck in the contest.
Sincerely,
Leo Long
