Oh lookie there, it's Betty Sue
the one we voted 'most likely to'.
She surely has, I know it's mean,
she didn't end up very lean!
And there's ole' Bob, oh he was cool
that basketball his dating tool,
but now he's limping with that stick,
he really was a stupid dick!
There's nasty Nancy, stupid bitch
on everyone she'd always snitch
now look she's now got one glass eye
it's just desserts, you can't deny!
I look around the tables here
and forty years just disappear,
like yesterday it all comes back
we're under gravity's attack!
A wrinkle here, a face lift there
oh really life just isn't fair
and Jenny's face lift's such a botch
in future she'll be worth a watch.
And as we sing the old school song
Jemima pops her under thong,
I think way back to those school days
and thank the lord it's all a haze.
But how is it I look the same
as everyone politely claims,
successful and so beautiful
I'm telling you it ain't no bull.

This is a brilliantly rhymed poem and I wish the contest had not been deleted as it would have won gold.

I really like this poem.
It's funny, but it also talks about how things change - time flies.
I love the line, "I look around the tables here and forty years just disappear."

Fab poem !
I liked your one too, it made me laugh...I think if I was invited to a 40th reunion, I wouldn't go lol. Well crafted, lots of luck in the contest.
