Boughs creaking,
Leaves thrashing,
Whirlwind flurry,
Limbs opening arms
to embrace winds
Thunder cracks
breaking wild black skies,
Lightening enters,
Blinding glares,
Wildlife disappears
Yet here I sit in awe
at the beauty of it all
whipped by long grasses,
A twig snaps scratching my face,
I have no cares
The darkness brings out demons
but are they really there?
With each and every flash
they draw closer, ever near,
It's exhilerating
Take me in this place,
Risk your life and soul,
Danger is a turn on,
Own me,
All love is a risk
Please tell me what you think

Very descriptive. This is a great metaphor. Very well done.

I can see that you're back. In the crime of poetry, you're a person of special interest.
