Not matter what time of year
wipe away that painful tear
forgive the cause of missing loves
and place yourself in cheer
For when you let the worries go
and make that vital call
being the first one to say sorry
is the sweetest sorry of all
Release the pain and let it go
forgive with gratitude in your heart
You feelings all will overflow
drawing close those far apart
To be the bigger one with grace
and holding no grudge or pain
will return lost loves into the fold
and happiness will flow again
Making the first move in a positive way
breaking down barriers formed
Is all it takes to change the rift
by those so wrongly scorned
Take my advice and say sorry now
although you did no wrong
be the power within your mind
this fued has gone on too long
We create the life we live
by the very thoughts we think
right now all thought should start to change
forgiveness is on the brink
You have the power
You have the way
You have the commpassion to share
Turn to your brother and appologise
Let him know you care
OR
You could go on as things are
everyone in pain
allowing thoughts of negative power
to repeat over and over again
It's YOUR call.
Remember we are what we think about the most.
Take the step and be the bigger person.
He is waiting and needs the bonding to return
even if he doesn't admit it right now.
Trust me. He misses you very much inside his stupid pride.

It takes great courage of ones own heart to reach out and mend broken emotions. One does not have to be at fault, or even have done anything at all, it is in their understanding and compassion that the beauty lies.

somehow in the spirit of christmas...we could find it easier to forgive and forget..and for those of us who find it hard to do this..somehow christmas becomes shallow and incomplete..
