Sorrow paints the blackened sky
tears fall like the rain
Her true beguiled a casualty
of her own disdain
Cursed misunderstandings
set the tempo for his death
Forgiveness never granted
though begged with dying breath
For that moment she’d not speak to him
his crime of being late
Stopping to buy the flower she holds
for his perfect mate
The card now stained a velvet red
cast of her gorgeous praise
Forever to live here in this heart
was the final phrase
Drowning in dark solitude
with each moment that does pass
Shunned from the final eulogy
excluded from the mass
Those loving words a dagger
thrust deep into her heart
Never to rest in raptures arms
forever to be apart

Such sadness your words do weave, upon the canvas that is as dark as her darken heart. For to forgive a love one no matter what happens, is what true love does. I can hear her crying holding the rose he stopped to get for her. Yet, when he tried to call her, nothing left her lips.
Love you my husband, my pirate king, my lover and my best friend.
Your wife,
Joann

I love you sweetie
Too many times we take life for granted and let the small things get in the way. Never go to bed mad. Always forgive and don't be petty. Life is short and love is fickle. It should be charished every day we never know what life has instore for us and sometimes it is death. On that note, I love you so much my dear and can't wait until I am home and in the arms of my love. I miss you so much. Your husband, lover, pirate king, and best friend, Ricky yea, I said it Ricky
