Well hello there my furry friend
Were you left behind by family
I have extra food if you're hungry
Here's water to drink, it's free
You're welcome to sleep next to me
Here by the camp fire where it's warm
As long as the fire's burning
We will come to no harm
What kind of wolf are you anyway
You see to be very tame
But that's just fine with me
I'd like to give you a name
Do you like the name of Buddy
As that's what we seem to be
I'll call you that if it's OK
Then you can come along with me

I do know that in heaven we will be petting and sleeping with lions and wolfs and all animals if we want. You made me think of those wonderful thoughts while I read this lovely poem of yours. Great imagery and flow. Very nice story behind the poem too. Loved it. Thank you for entering my contest and good luck to you in it.

This is very cute and I love the background that you chose for it. Although very unpredictable and often times ferocious, it's great to see that you chose the lighter and more gentle side of the wolf to write about. They are truly beautiful and mysterious creatures. I love this one from you and good luck!
