Are You Ready?

Missing image

Are you ready for the Lord

He's coming like a thief in the night

Will you drink the cup salvation

and get your soul right

Are you ready for Jesus

When he comes on His throne

Are you prepared for the rapture

Do you know where you going

He's coming soon

As His word declares

Hear what the spirit say's

He who has ears

He comes at a time

That you know not

As the days of Sodom and Gomorrah

Remember the wife of Lot

He say's behold I come quick

We know not the hour or day

Like the days of Noah

Just eight souls were saved

The final days are unfolding

Few are called and chosen

Therefore be ready

As the end time are closing

His raiment shall be gather

At the coming of the Son of man

 Those His faithful wise servant

Are His saints in the latter end

Yes, you have gotten your message across.
Another good one from you, Sharon,

  • this was so good. I like that it draws in the reader by asking them questions of themselves. And I love the fact that it is in simple language so does not complicate the message that i believe you are trying to get across. Very Well Done. Keep up the good writing!

    Awesome

This was a very good poem. I really liked the fact that it asked the question if we are ready for Jesus to come. That's something we need to think about day and night, and while we do everything because Jesus can come at any second, any minute, and we need to be ready. We need to have our salvation, and live a life pleasing to Him,and live for His glory not for ours. I very much liked this, and i am glad you wrote it. Good work here!
