Rose petal pages of desire.

Missing image
She sat there, warmed by the flames of desire,
words of love caressing her mind,
bringing heat to her very soul,
from pages of rose tinted lines, forevermore.

Subdued light casting sweet shadows across her skin,
and chilled wine keeping the heat at bay,
a penny for her thoughts lay for the taking,
but inside, she knew she was deeply loved.

The voice of one had whispered to her heart,
through lyrical verse he displayed his passion,
his sincerity, his commitment to care for her,
knowing that he watched over her, she sighed.

Tending for her every care,
she knew he was there,
cultivating new seeds of love,
to make her hearts garden bloom,

and the tears of joy would bring harvests of passions delight.

'. . .but inside, she knew she was deeply loved;' Don't we all wish it was that way for us? To have someone who truly loves us, watches over us. So soft, so heartfelt!!!
