This is my ideal understanding of what parents are to be. Mine fell far from the ideal. I trust that your parents were loving & that you have many fond memories to cherish.
Ex 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which YAH thy Elohim giveth thee.
Ps 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the unrighteous, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of YAH; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.
Pr 1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
Col 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Master.
Remember all that was good and pleasing. Honor your parents memory by heeding all that they taught you that was right.

Sorry for your loss. I meant this to be encouraging.
I was hoping that if you read the AN you'd understand. When I saw this contest this is what I was prompted to write. This was in honor of your parents, mine, & all.
