Leaves begin to fall
It means the winter is nearing
But the things the fall discoveres
Wind blows the fallen leaves
Around in circles
In between
One single gust,
and all is set,
Someone lieing in the dirt
Life since left behind them
Now they're just scraps of cloth
and white things that seem to make
A human persons shape.
The skull was faceing me
But blink for it I did not
Kneeling down beside this person
Discarded and left alone in the woods
I whispered to the long gone soul
"My dear, safe you are.
I will get you out of here''
No longer would they be alone
The bones in the woods
Would soon find a home
Why is this person here
Did someone move them
Because of fear
Or were there more sinister things around
Lerking looking to be found
A personal grave yard
One he keeps to revisit
These are his trophies
And I am his vision.

Author notes
This is about a human Skeleton found in the woods. By a girl who then looks around and sees more than one homeade grave. It is a serial killers grave yard. His victims are burried there so he could go back to them. It vaugly suggests that the killer tricked the girl who found the bones to come so she could join the other bodies.

I love the story like tone your poem holds. There are a few mistakes but it doesn't take away too much from the poem. This would make a wonderful story if you would like to extend it. Thank you so much for entering I really enjoyed your work. Good luck!
