there is not enough
strength to stand
in these old legs
of this old man
but he must fight on
his honor demands it
he staggers to his feet
his legs made unsteady
by wounds cutting deep
green armor soiled and chipped
but blade steady and sharp
come you dogs!
you cowards, honorless men!
he fights for his lady
and for her son
for his ancient house
for the daughter of his heart
brave soldier stand up
take one more with you
to the gates of the dead
where your fallen soldiers
will sing your praise

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out the man in this piece... I know it's somewhere in my brain, I've been thinking for about a week, then I remembered that all this time I forgot to tell you how awesome the piece was
. The last three lines... simply amazing! The entire poem paints such a wonderful picture and your flow is, as always, fantastic. I love it.

Alas, I cannot guess the man . . . maybe my mind is a little slow this morning.
But this is very well written! You create a very vivid image,
and your flow is good

I wish you all the best,
