well thought out poet. Seeing the background material I understand your word choices and the order of your stanzas. Having a base in truth doesn't hurt either.

    I am ....

...beginning to think that your poems are in reality a secret code for the CIA or FSB,or Mossad, or Mr O Laden. I rarely make anything of them, yet always feel that it is I who am deficient.

The air, water earth, fire bit did at least bring back a memory of sauntering through Covent Garden, when it was still arty and full of strange shops (and people) and saw a notice to go up to an alternative-type thing just starting. So I did. A handful of people were sat round a little light, a bowl of water, a flower, a stone (for earth) and it turned out they were Druids. Two things prevented me from going back. One, I suspected it would be Central London to-day, freezing your arse off in some woods to-morrow. Two, although it was all about Knowledge and Harmony, the leader was talking patent nonsense about what this or that meant in Hebrew, and was engaged in what I suspected had been a long-running feud, with a guy who had once been the Leader; and then again, it was just so much mumbo jumbo.

Sorry for such a crappy comment. I read the F 451 book years ago, and have completely forgotten the story.

With your sense of humor, you certainly not "deficient". I think you are "pulling my leg" (lol). I have a sense that you understand these Barebones Poems more than you care to let on. I loved your comment; compliments, and applause. Thank you!
