I look at the way you've grown,
three years old and so independent.
I miss the way you used to need me,
where'd my little girl go?

I felt the same as I watched my two daughters grow. It seems that one minute you are there hero and the next your just in the way. At 15 and 10 years old they seem to have no need for me at all. Well except for my wallet - that they need...lol

Remembering the younger years
we all miss those times where we didnt have no bills to pay nothing to worry about and no drama in our lives 3 years old is the perfect age and if i could go back to it i would only because it was probably the best of times back in the olden days. good writing -

It is hard to watch them grow up so quickly and become more and more independent. But remember it is a good thing in the end that she has the confidence to "do it all by herself!" Thanks for sharing this. Blessings, Patty

Thanks so much for the comment and the applause. I do miss her being dependant on me for everything but I am proud of her at the same time for being able to do the things she does, if that makes sense. It doesn't matter though, because no matter how old she gets she will always be my little girl!

A lot of emotion and imagery with a minimum of words--
