Yellow as the summer days,
Yellow as the sun ,
Beams of amber wonder,
Won't let June be done.
I will keep the summer,
As the fairies do.
I will love the summer ,
As fairies drink the dew .
August fairies wander ,
In the fields of grain .
July takes us right back,
To childhood again.
Yellow days of summer ,
Days of perfect bliss ,
Summer fairies gather ,
In a sunbeam kiss.
Dancing in my garden ,
Floating in my head,
Summer fairies follow
As I go to bed .
May my dreams be happy ,
And filled with daisy chains .
May June be here forever
Bringing yellow rains .
