possibly

These white walls hold no comfort for me.
They drive me insane with their lies.
They promise you’ll be here in the morning.
I believe them every time.
I sigh and give in.
Close my eyes.
Praying to god for tomorrow to be brighter
We’ll be together again.

And I can really smile again.

Just maybe there is such thing as happiness,
And all this pain will mean something.
And the regret I feel will disappear.
It’ll melt into the shadows,
Where mistakes are stored,
And scarlet A’s are ignored.
And the ending isn’t happily ever after
But it’s better than this disaster
It’s better than this nightmare.
It wouldn’t be perfect.
But it would be something.

I like how you just put it all out there. I think much healing can come from purging yourself of these feelings and emotions. good luck. thank you for sharing. peace and light, Kendal
