Oh love you blow so far away
when once the heart felt safe,
now lost between the sun and moon
forever passion's waif.
Yet once forever was a star
that glowed through galaxies,
a pinprick in the distance now
and love's a fallacy.
And as the sun would slowly set
a coldness seeps around,
that warmth of heart has disappeared
to wear confusion's frown.
Then softness of the moon now rose
in colours pale yet fine,
within that gentle changing time
was sent oh saddest sign.
From far above and far away
a teardrop reached the soul
and love that felt such glory once
no longer could console.

Solid write
an excellent piece for this prompt poet, but would be a picture even without the one attending. Good words here.
