Tell me Doctor, how long must we dance sir
As people on Earth continue to die
What is the cost for a cure for cancer
Will the research grants just shrivel and dry
Give us a break, you must have a plan sir
Should Hippocrates roll over and sigh
Has your profession become that seedy
Or over time, have you become greedy?

its funny cuz its true
I agree completely and the problem is not just with doctors it extends far further than that to practically every facet of life
we all want something for nothing not realizing that it wont work that way so its truly sad that good people must suffer so the greedy can line their pockets
you have a very interesting way of describing life as you see and as it is from others points as well
well done sir

In answer to the question posed in the couplet, I'd say it's a little bit of both -- combined with the doctors' hands being tied by the increased cost of their malpractice insurance because of greed from another source. You've done well with this piece in communicating your ire and frustration with the medical establishment. I've missed reading your work.

My deepest sympathies for your brother.

Bob
A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together
To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven
