She thought you were wrapped,
she thought she had the upper hand,
she claimed she was blessed because she had your affection,
but little did she know she was nothing but a distraction.

Just a little girl to take up space,
and keep things from falling horribly out of place,
we had to wait for the proper time,
before I could finally call you mine.

She continued with lies,
thinking I would stand by and watch,
I tried to step in and tell you the truth,
but eventually I had to let you see the proof.

She thought she was blessed,
she thought she was gifted,
too bad for her that is was my heart he lifted.
He saved my life,
and left her on the side,
what a shame little girl,
i guess it's your turn to cry.

I've grown to woman,
while she whines like a child,
so thank you dear love,
for making it worth while.
