I never had to wonder why 'guy' rhymes with 'lie'
Princesses intertwine fairytales and pipedreams
Hoping that happiness resides with what reproduces
Two loves; child, and their inevitable letdown, a guy

But behind their naive dreams lies the 2-faced liar

Man, as they call them, make the best serpants
Venomous lies spew out of their 3-faced words
Princesses fall prey to the ideals of a husband

Begging for the happiness that's promised
But the innocent face masks the lies, told and untold

I do, however, wonder when will women open their eyes
Move forward and condemn the reason of the madness

These 'men' live life hoping to enslave women, securing their insecurities
They speak words of 2-faced comfort (they call it 'love')
But maybe, just maybe, the princesses will write their own fairytale
