Winter The Sorrow Song

The sound of winter,
I'm listening to it as it falls to the ground.
Playing such a sorrowful song.
The quiet sounds I hear as winter falls.

I learned once long ago,
Not to allow it to get me down.
When I heard the song of winter being played once before.
It was such a sorrow filled song.

I couldn't allow it to get me down.
I didn't want to feel as if I was alone,
In this cold winter, so I began to play along.
I've been here since I was small every winter.

Playing the same song over and over.
Until the song it stops falling,
And we see the leaves on the trees,
Start to blossom again.

The song of winter,
Such a sad song.
So I play along,
Wishing not to be caught in,

The depression it brings.
From locking us all away inside.
Where we can't enjoy the outside.
Winter such a sorrowful song.
