A half-maker and a half-destroyer
A lover and a murderer.
With her artistic hands she can create
With her assassin hands she can lay destruction.
Concocted from hell, behold this infernal creation!
Perchance, created by heaven for divine retribution.
Painter of pictures expressing chaos
A master of shocking, poisonous colors.
Her hands constantly smeared with paint
and constantly stained with blood,
she mixes blood and water color in her palette.
For the artist's mad and feral reason
Fall is a murderous season
Leaves fall and colors fade
as she cuts another head.
There has been a divine error, perchance
When the artist walked the road of darkness.
She became an assassin
And committed sins
worse than all art crimes.
The eyes of the artist
Are now the very eyes of death.
And the artist’s father realized with regret
That he should’ve named her Tragedia and not Aglaia.

Maybe he should have named her Angelica or something sweet so she would not have turned assassin? lol You did a very nice job with imagery and the whole decrription and metaphors. Very well written poem with all the artist tools used. I wonder what color the blood and the paints made when mixed? lol Good luck in the contest and thank you for entering. Have a good night.
